"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." - Helen Keller
HOW I GOT HERE
After 10 years as a business journalist, I relocated from Houston to Palo Alto to obtain my graduate degree at Stanford University where I fell in love with geopolitics and innovation.
I then covered the military and general assignments for the San Diego Union-Tribune before returning to Austin where I worked for a private geopolitical intelligence and analysis firm.
I now work with clients, companies and publications to communicate their vision and mission. I also work with individuals and companies seeking clarity in a complicated world through personalized intelligence briefings, custom reports, and other special projects.
My work has appeared in various publications including the San Antonio Express-News, San Diego Union Tribune, San Antonio Business Journal, Houston Business Journal, Austin Business Journal, Crunchbase News, The Registry and Stanford Daily.
my values
Simplicity and clarity are key. I work extremely well under pressure and strive to not only meet but exceed my clients expectations. I respect deadlines and try to bring a fresh and joyful attitude to every interaction.
My passions include geopolitics, archery, history, art, architecture, mixed-martial arts, farming, sustainable development and film. I am a wife, mother, animal-lover and proud global citizen who values character, integrity and honesty above all else.
